About us

Mark 1 was established in 2003 by Mark Nolan, who identified an opportunity to develop a business management system to support organisations in achieving ISO 9001 accreditation.

Why choose us?

The rationale behind the creation of Titan was to bring a user-friendly product to market to remove the waste, inefficiency and storage challenges posed by paper-based ways of working. The result is a product that:

  • Is highly accessible to everyone in your organisation – even remote field staff working overseas
  • Can be easily integrated into your existing IT system
  • Is designed to meet all your requirements, with exceptional functionality
  • Ensures effective and secure data storage in one place
  • Eliminates human error via the use of automated processes
  • Provides an online database for managing documentation that can be interrogated and updated in real time
  • Helps data analysis and management reporting
  • Equips you with a tried and tested quality management system for achieving ISO accreditation
  • Offers a flexible way of working, using a modular basis to grow with your organisation and meet its evolving needs
  • Environmentally friendly, secure, efficient and paperless

Over the last few years Mark 1 has expanded its services to incorporate accreditations for environmental management (ISO 14001) and health & safety management (OHSAS 18001).

We work closely with our extensive client base, from our owner managed businesses to international operators, to continually review and develop our system, ensuring we remain at forefront of emerging technologies.

Our professional, cost-effective service makes great business sense. Don’t just take our word for it, see what others have said about us by taking a look at our client case studies

In safe hands...

“I am delighted to have just completed our SGS audit to upgrade to the latest ISO9001:2015 Standard, which has been a breeze. Mark and the team at Mark 1 Business Systems continue to rubber-stamp our processes, procedures and policies to ensure that our daily operations are entirely reflective of the quality that this standard requires. The Titan Quality Management System is a seriously impressive tool that combines every aspect of quality management within our organisation.

Since partnering with Mark 1 Business Systems to manage our QMS, we are proud that our ISO9001 accreditation is reflective of our operating culture, rather than a standard that we strive to achieve.
